Let me be the first! 🙂 Steve Wozinak because it was fascinating to hear the story of Apple and his life. I admire his achievements and philanthropy. Not to mention, it was at Herbst Theatre in SF with dear friends. Good times!

I really enjoyed listening to Kelly Deck, interior designer and director of her own firm. She explained that “it takes a village” to build a home. Illustrating that she alone can never create a home that is as well crafted or appropriate to it’s environment as when she collaborates with the surrounding community and skilled craftspeople. It’s a great lesson to keep in mind for any creative!

So true! I love the African proverb “If you want to go quick, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.” However one says it, the universal truth remains the same. We need each other to do our best in life and in work.

I love Kelly’s (and her team’s) work. Thanks for sharing. http://kellydeck.com/
